Key Features:

Linen

Obtained from the stems of the homonymous plant. The stalks of flax, which like the cotton wool of the seeds of cotton are cellulosic in nature, are transformed into yarn. The fibers of the flax stems are particularly long and smooth, and are characterized by high tensile strength and minimal elongation. However, linen is not well suited to mechanical processing and does not have the same wear resistance as cotton. Due to the length and inelasticity of the fibers, untreated linen shrinks and creases when washed. Dry dirt particles can be easily removed from smooth linen fibers, while wet particles penetrate the fiber more easily.

Polyester

Polyester is the most widely used synthetic fiber.

It is extremely resistant to wear, creasing, abrasion to chemical and physical agents, but above all very stable to
repeated washing in water.

In weaving it is often used in blends with natural yarns to create fabrics that are pleasant to the touch and easy to maintain.
